Individuals - Billing Information

Cincinnati suspended individual policy cancellations due to nonpayment of premiums in March, April and May.

Pausing cancellations was not a waiver of payment, but an extension or grace period for those directly impacted by the pandemic. As businesses and organizations begin to reopen, we will now return to enforcing normal payment schedules. Beginning in June – or later if required by an individual state – we will send invoices to policyholders directly billed by Cincinnati who have outstanding balances from the suspended cancellation period.

We understand that many people are still out of work or living on reduced income. If you continue to experience financial hardship due to COVID-19 and cannot pay the full past due balance, Cincinnati or your local independent agent may be able to help. Please contact us at 888-242-8811, Ext 2002.

It’s taken all of us staying at home, keeping our distance and practicing strong personal hygiene to slow the spread of COVID-19. As a result of your reduced driving, we offered a 15% Stay-at-Home credit to all personal lines auto policyholders on April and May Premiums – pending regulatory approval. No action was required on your part to receive the discount. For more information about the Stay-At-Home Personal Auto Credit, please see the FAQ.

We extended all life, disability and long-term care insurance grace periods to 60 days for premiums due between May 31 and June 30. This is in addition to the prior offering of 90-day grace periods for premiums that were due between March 16 and May 31.
